Section B: Base Rules

B-001
Voter EligibilityEach registered user is an eligible voter and a valued citizen of The Ascendancy.
B-002
Turn ComponentsEach Turn consists of a voting phase and an intermission.
B-003
Proposed Rule SelectionDuring the voting phase of a Turn, a set of rules hand-selected by The Count & Balance Ascendancy Legislature will be voted upon.
B-004
Voting FrequencyEach eligible voter may vote as often as they like during the voting phase of a turn. Upon casting a valid vote, another vote may not be cast until a timeout period has elapsed. This period should be used for reflecting on the democratic process and appreciating the continued efforts of The Count & Balance Ascendancy Legislature.
B-005
Phase TransitionsThe voting phase will end and the intermission will begin once a total number of valid votes have been cast. This number will be decided by The Count & Balance Ascendancy Legislature and is subject to change at any time.
B-006
RatificationDuring the intermission, ballots will be counted and verified by The Count & Balance Ascendancy Legislature. The rule(s) with the most valid votes will be implemented into the game.
B-007
Turn TransitionsA Turn will begin at the discretion of The Count & Balance Ascendancy Legislature.
B-008
Criminal BehaviorAny elligible voter attempting to destabilize The Ascendancy or desecrate the political process through subversive methods including, but not limited to, voter fraud, vote manipulation, cyber warfare, or public disagreement with The Ascendancy or The Count & Balance Ascendancy Legislature will immediately forfeit all rights granted by The Ascendancy and will have all citizenship revoked.

Official CommunicationPrimary communication will be delivered at VoteRPG.com. Other official channels of communication are the Vote RPG Discord, r/VoteRPG, and @vote_rpg. Any other forms of communication are not officially recognized by The Ascendancy.

Financial SupportersAny voters willingly providing financial support to The Ascendancy via Patreon are greatly appreciated and may be granted additional privileges not covered by these rules.
